Rainbow Therapy 4 Children is based in North Essex and covers Essex, Suffolk, Cambridge, Hertfordshire and North/East London. We offer Independent Paediatric Occupational Therapy and/or Physiotherapy from highly experienced practitioners to your child aged from 0 to 19 years, within their own home, school or nursery environment.
We provide an assessment and treatment service based around your child's needs from an initial consultation through to managed care plans and specific treatment programmes. We do this by using a child centred, play based approach in order to help your child to reach their full potential in all areas of life.  Our service offers an alternative package to the NHS, so long waiting times can be avoided. You will still have access to services offered by the NHS and we are very happy to liaise with other professionals regarding your child's needs. |
We are experienced in supporting children with a range of diagnoses known to affect developmental progress. These include Cerebral Palsy, Acquired Brain Injury, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome or other chromosome disorders, Dyspraxia or Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), Sensory Processing Disorders, Global Developmental Delay, Torticollis, or a delay relating to a premature birth or birth difficulty. Other children may have been noticed to be performing not so well at school/nursery, or a parent/carer may feel they are not developing as well as their siblings, cousins or friends' children, but no specific reason has yet been found for this difficulty.

We are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and are members of our professional bodies, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the British Association of Occupational Therapists (BAOT). As such we work within the rules laid down by our bodies and follow a professional code of practice. We are also CRB checked.
At Rainbow Therapy 4 Children we are able to offer a flexible, fun, child centred service. Through individually tailored sessions we can help your baby or child to reach their full potential.
